A proposed program for kids from 4 to 12 to learn how to shoot guns, in order to defend themselves and others.

Surreal? Well, according to a handful of US officials, it makes perfect sense, provided it comes from a presumed trustworthy source.

They are on video promoting it.

Now these are men in or past their 50s, willing to say just anything they think might benefit them, even temporarily. Give them a minor recognition and they will ass-kiss to unimaginable degrees, throwing their support in towards any ineptitude, including what a great idea it would be to give guns to toddlers.

These guys are like jukeboxes; push a few buttons and whatever you want comes out, no matter how ridiculous.

They got there by being voted in by their constituencies. Think about that.

Among the promotional material he got them to read on camera, this is my favourite one:

“Toddlers are pure, un-corrupted by fake news or homosexuality. They don’t worry whether it’s politically correct to shoot a deranged gunman; they’ll just do it. The science behind this program is proven. At age 4 a child processes images 80% faster than an adult, meaning that essentially, like owls, they can see in slow motion. Children under 5 also have elevated levels of the pheromone Blink 182, released by a part of the liver that is known as the Rita Ora. “

That was a real congressman. People went out and voted for the guy. And for all the rest. Yes, this post is repetitive, yet I’m still amazed.

Honestly… I thought I’d seen it all… Clearly not. This is another video of him getting someone involved into this “Kinderguardian” program… Here’s one of the so-called victims of the prank explaining how he, a grown man once a US official, was duped into saying something stupid because he “trusted” the prankster and had been offered a fake award. As if somehow suspending his mental faculties under those circumstances were normal.

Of course, this was almost timid compared to the following episode, in which another representative was easily convinced to drop his trousers and attack a mock terrorist with his bare arse while shouting “USA” (among other things).

On the bright side… If this guy could pretend for decades to be highly functional, maybe there’s hope for just about anyone.
